Curse an Object Spell

 

Sometimes it is necessary to make someone realize that material objects are not important. People and ideas are important. One should not define oneself by your new Toyota or Mercedes. The size of your television is not a measure of your wisdom. This spell is meant to help you teach someone this important lesson. When you see someone who is being a little too possessive of something they have, it is time to use magick to change their focus.

Light of the moon so white and pure

Hear my heart and hear my word.

You who shines upon all faire

Listen to my solemn cares.

 

A mortal chases not the light

But chases an object of delight

What fools these mortal be

To want things more than magick thee.

 

Upon the land walks with me

(name of person)

who drags his/her soul with chains of false gold.

Mistress of the sky, free the fate

Upon this thing please do break.

 

Light of the moon so white and pure

Show this mortal's eye to see

That objects are but mockeries

Of meanings and of life true gems.

 

Cast off the altar of base matter now

That he/she may see with new eye

With chains cast off upon their gait

To walk with me to freedom's fate.
